Answer #1
Metal prediction about the reaction with HCl
Ca

Produce dihydrogen gas,

Ca (s) + 2 HCl (aq) ----------> CaCl2 (aq) + H2 (g)

Mg

Produce dihydrogen gas,

Mg (s) + 2 HCl (aq) ----------> MgCl2 (aq) + H2 (g)

Fe

Produce dihydrogen gas,

Fe (s) + 2 HCl (aq) ----------> FeCl2 (aq) + H2 (g)

Cu No reaction because, Cu cannot replace H+ ion
Zn

Produce dihydrogen gas,

Zn (s) + 2 HCl (aq) ----------> ZnCl2 (aq) + H2 (g)

Sn

Produce dihydrogen gas,

Sn (s) + 2 HCl (aq) ----------> SnCl2 (aq) + H2 (g)
