Sustainable development is one of the most crucial and essential concepts in today’s world. It means that the people should use the resources in such a manner that it should not affect the future generation. The future generations should also have abundant resources. Sustainability is used as a concept in marketing by many companies. Marketing is the way by which the companies prepare the perception of the product in the minds of the customers. The companies must keep in mind that they use the resources of the society and return the profits and gains to the society. Sustainability is the best way to get back to the society in an efficient way. For example, a company should take care that it should not release the chemicals in water bodies or on land. It is because this would negatively affect the environment. In the marketing campaigns or advertising, the companies should mention that they follow sustainable guidelines to protect the society and the environment. For example, a company can mention in its advertisement that they will grow trees and donate some part of the price of the product or service in the environmental programs. It will make increase the trust if the customers and will also increase loyalty. Loyalty and trust are what every company asks for it. Hence, sustainability is the way to profits and customer satisfaction.
