At exactly the same instant, you fling a scoop of ice cream at Andrei along exactly the same path. The collision between banana and ice cream produces a banana split 6.7 m from your location 1.2 s after the banana and ice cream were launched. How fast did you toss the ice cream? How far were you from Andrei when you tossed the ice cream?

i know answer 1 is 5.58 m/s, but i am looking for answer 2 please

distance = 6.7 + 1.2 * 12 = 21.1 m

Answer 2

1) using d= ut
6.7 = 1.2 x u
u= 5.58 m/s

2) distance = 6.7 + (12 x 1.2) = 21.1 m
