What are the functional groups of each IR spectra and why?
1. Peaks at 2985 and 1700 are due to CH stretch and C=O stretch. So compound may have ketone functional group.
2. Peak at 3450 is due to OH and at 3080 for =CH stretch and at weakpeak at 1600 for C=C and a weak peak at 1050 for C-O stretches. so it may have phenol functional group.
3. Peaks at 2975 and 1745 are due to CH and C=O stretch and a strong peak at 1200 corresponds to C-O stretch. So if may have an ester functional group.

Need help identifying this molecule based off its IR and NMR
spectra. Thanks in advance.
The
single peak at about 7.3 on the NMR spectrum was told to be ignored
as its from the solvent.
