time= distance/ speed

for pulse 1,

t1=L/c( 1/n1 + 1/n2 + 1/n3 + 1/n4)

for pulse 2,

t2=L/c( 2/n5 + 1/n6 + 1/n7)

t1=L/c ( 0.621 + 0.588 + 0.606 + 0.684) =

t2=L/c (1.24 + 0.591 + 0.645)

clearly, pulse 1 takes longer time.

t1= 2.499L/c

t2=2.476L/c

They differ by a multiple of 23 (approx)
