Answer #1

Correct option:

All of the above are true.

Change in enthalpy is the heat at constant pressure (ΔΗ = gp). Hence, HT can be determined using constant pressure calorimetry.

State function only depends on the initial and final state of the system. It does not not depend on the path by which the final state is reached from the initial state.

Change in internal energy is the heat at constant volume (LE=QU). Hence, SETTI can be determined using constant volume calorimetry.

From the first law of thermodynamics, energy is neither created nor destroyed. In nuclear reaction, mass and energy converts according to Einstein's mass-energy equivalence.

Which one of the following statements is true? O A catalyst alters the equilibrium constant of a reaction and is neither a product nor a reactant in the overall equation. In order for a reaction to occur, product and reactant molecules must collide with each other. The transition state is a short-lived, high energy state, intermediate between products and reactants. In reactions that are first order in one reactant and first order in another, the slow step always involves a...

Which of the following is TRUE about Topological Sorting? Topological Sort can be used as a subroutine to find shortest paths in a weighted DAG in time O(V+E); in particular, the time does not depend on the magnitudes of the weights on the edges, and the weights on the edges may be negative. A Topological Sort algorithm sorts the nodes of an arbitrary directed graph G in an order that is consistent with all the paths in G, that is...
