Please help me answer the following questions about the molecule below. The structural formula and questions are listed below. I am just trying to verify my own conclusions. Thanks!

1. What are the functional groups?

I have found: aromatic hydrocarbon, tertiary amine, sulfonic acid.

2. Does the molecule have chiral carbons? Stereoisomers?

No, because no carbon has a chiral center- none are attached to 4 unique groups. Only 1 stereoisomer.

3. What functional groups are influenced by pH?

4. What is the structure of the molecule when the pH is low? When the pH is high? I'm confused by this- explanation would be GREAT! thank you!

diazene, aromatic hydrocarbon, tertiary amine, sulfonic acid.

2. Does the molecule have chiral carbons? Stereoisomers?

No, because no carbon has a chiral center- none are attached to 4 uneque groups. But geometrical isomers are possible cis, trans.

3. What functional groups are influenced by pH?

tertiary amine, sulfonic acid.

4. What is the structure of the molecule when the pH is low? When the pH is high? OH ONa for this structure pH is low for this structure pH is HIGH
