as the momentum in the direction parallel to the wall will be constant

the force will be perpendicular to the wall

Using second law of motion

Impulse = change in momentum

impulse = 0.250 * (v * sin(theta) - (- v * sin(theta)))

impulse = 0.250 * 5 * (sin(30) - (- sin(30)))

impulse = 1.25 N.s

the impulse acting on the object is 1.25 N.s
