Answer #1

1. One of the most discussed stories is the Noah's Ark in which the God decided to destroy the Earth with a great flood but choose one man and his family. This narrative is there in many different cultures and ancient textbooks in different ways.

Geologists say this might be an actual event, eventhough there is not enough water to cover the whole land on Earth, this flood may be a one with a large wave which took all the dry land in a particular local area, and people who endured them wrote these stories about such a flood which covered entire Earth (exageration). This event may relate to a catastrophic flooding event in Black Sea around 500 BC.
