With your knowledge and understanding in MOSFET , explain
electrically with graph
supporting your answers , the three regions of operation of a
MOSFET

Cutoff region : gate to source voltage is less than threshold, negligible flow of current as there is no channel formation.
Linear region
When gate to source voltage increases threshold level, channel is formed at drain allowing current to increase linearly with voltage. Linear increase in current, so this is linear region.
Saturation region
If we go on increasing voltage in linear region, after some voltage level it has no effect on current. This region is saturation as current is saturated.

a) How would you characterise power bipolar devices in comparison with power MOSFETs? Illustrate your answer by providing unique features of power MOSFETs.b) Using the aid of a MOSFET diagram, explain operational features of the power MOSFET. Support your explanation using MOSFET operation as a switch. Also, illustrate the conditions needed to drive a power MOSFET in the different regions of operation.c) Discuss four (4) advantages of a bridge or half-bridge forward converter when compared with a single-ended forward converter
b. Fully explain (based on your knowledge of atomic structure and a supporting quantitate value) why calcium is more reactive than magnesium. Be sure to support your answer w as least one quantitative value-ionization energy. atomic radius.....! This will take research and you must state the quantitative value with units as part of your answer. (3 points)
Based on your excellent understanding and extensive knowledge of chemical synaptic transmission, EXPLAIN what would happen in response in each hypothetical situation below….Assume you have an experimental set-up with two neurons connected via a chemical synapse – Neuron A is presynaptic and Neuron B is postsynaptic. Also assume that there is a stimulating electrode in Neuron A that brings it to threshold and produces an EPSP in Neuron B. In your answers, include all relevant events between this stimulus and...
explain why atoms are electrically neutral?. use tritium to illustrate your answer.
Can someone explain parts a and b please?
Show your work - answers without supporting work will get zero marks. 1. You put 1 mL of CH 4 into a test tube with 1 mL of KI (aq). Then you add a small amount of a metal salt, MNO3(aq), and shake the mixture. (a) If the M' reacts with, and oxidizes the I, what colour would the C6H14 be? Explain and give any relevant reactions. (1 mark) does not react...
