Macs are computers (hardware); built by Apple.

In terms of hardware, the difference between PCs and Macs is not much. Both run Intel processors, etc.
The difference mostly lies with software.
With the case of Macs. both the Hardware and software are made by Apple.
This essentially means that there will never be any driver clashes and both hardware and software work really well together.
In the case of PC, you have the luxury of choice in terms of configuration, etc and windows come with a large set of drivers.

If your tasks include gaming, I would suggest Windows over Mac.
