Yes..Different Software Programs have Different definitions of quality...

For Example the quality of a point of sales software is the ease with which it can be operated.....The Quality of a security software like fingerprint scanner is the difficulty to crack it....The quality of a encryption software is the effectiveness and the secureness with which the data is encrypted.

Generaly Reliability of a software is the general measure of quality.The extent upto which we can be RELIABLE on the software in general defines the quality of the software.this is not the exact measurement of quality but one of the measurement,

Software quality can be measured by using SoftWare metrics .There are two types of quality structural quality and functional quality .
