Give quantitative dimensions of stress that influence employees performance?

Stress has become quite common in almost all the workplaces. The major factors contributing towards stress are as :

• Workload : High level of workload always causes stress. Employees either need to burn midnight oil and keep working or get the scoldings from the boss. In both the condition, stress level rises.
• Conflicts in the role : If there is any conflicts with the subordinates, which causes physical fight amongst the employees or cold war, both the cases increase the stress level.
• Job Security : Thinking constantly about the job security make the people even more stressed. They would always keep thinking about the job security and increases the stress level.
• Working in Shifts : Working in shifts do not give enough quality time to spent with the family. Evening or late night shift increases the stress level and make the person pour out all its anger on the family members. Labors would not much productive if working in shifts.
• Change in Technology : Change in Technology and the inability of the employees to abide by the same also increases the stress level.
• Low salary : Low salary do not allow the person to purchase the luxury for the family members. They would be highly frustrated and keep cursing each other.
• Lack of recognition : If there is no recognition for the employee in the organization, it thus increases the stress level of the employee . He would feel as if he is working as a slave without any motivation and thus increases the stress level which would ultimately influence the employees performance.
