There is always pressure from shareholders to generate more profit for any company and if we talk about information technology (IT) yes, it plays crucial role in getting things organized and to make things simpler to run in order to cut the cost of inefficiencies which may be present in any company at any given point of time. As artificial intelligence getting improved day by day there are more chances of cost cutting through information technology (IT).

Below are some mentioned points regarding advantages of this:

  • The cost cutting for running the company can be done.
  • Things can run smoothly and in an organized manner.
  • Automation of repetitive work will provide faster production of things.
  • Analytics of the work which is being done and possibilities of it being improved.

Although there are some good points, but some pitfalls as well:

  • The automation of the works will result in sacking some of the employees.
