Answer #1

The Electron configuration of 1S22S22P63S2 belongs to Magnesium element (Mg).

Electronic congiguration can also be written as [ Ne ]3S2

Since Neon Ne has configuration completed with 1S22S22P6  a noble gas , we use to denote Ne and other remaining elements to specify the other elements

The last filled electrons of oribal of Mg is 3S and there are two electrons

So, n = 3 , [energy level is 3s]

l = 0 , [for s oribtal , l =0 ,{-1+1=0}]

s = 1/2

the quantum number is n=3, l=0,s=1/2.
