In a study of alligator death rolls, one of the variables measured was the degree of the angle between the body and head of the alligator while performing the roll. A sample of 20 rolls yielded the data provided below in degrees. At the 5% significance level, do the data provide sufficient ovidence to conclude that, on average, the angle between the body and head of an alligator during a death roll is greater than 45., Note x-47 425° and s 9981° Preliminary data analyses indicate that you can reasonably use a t-test to onduct the hypothesis st Click here to view the data on alligator death rolls Set up the hypotheses for the one-mean t-test Ho Type integers or decimals. Answer #1

significance level:

TEst statistic:

degree of freedom = n-1=19

P value for the one taild test = 0.1454

Since the P value is greater than the significance level of the test, we cannot reject the null hypothesis.

Henc we have no evidence to support the claim that the angle is greater than 47
