The development of www can be tracked down to the ear 1989 which was done by Tim Berner-Lee and his co-workers in Switzerland. The protocol was developed by them in the form of HyperText Transfer Protocol (HTTP), which was used to convert the communication between the server and clients to be standard.

There is a difference between www and internet as www is the collection of various documents that are present on the internet while the internet is the information superhighway that connects the huge number of computer terminals in order to exchange data and information with each other
