When designing a long inclined conveyor belt system for the transportation of finished products in a factory, what spacing should you use between the driving pulley & tension pulley (the take up)? Is there a rule of thumb that can be applied to determine the required spacing? (See example picture) Thanks in advance!

THE SPACE CAN BE CALCULATED BY THE FORMULA

NOW THE THGUMB RULE IS NECESSARY FOR CALCULATING THE DISTANCE BETWEEN THE PULLEYS HERE. AS THE TAKE UP PULLY IS INCLINED 90 DEGRESS TO THE CONVAYER BELT , THE DISTANCE CAN BE FIND AND CAN BE ASSERTAINED BY THUMBS RULE.
