Answer #1

Solution

Case 1: If the front and rear of the queue is null, then the queue is empty.

Case 2: If the next of rear node is front node, then the queue is empty since for a non-empty queue, the front node should always lie before the rear node.

Summer II 2020 - Data Structures and Algorithms (COSC-2336-01W) In the linked-list based bag implementation, we demonstrated the functionalities, such as, add, remove, and list. This assignment is to extend the functionalities of the bag with other operations average, min, and max, You need to extend the Bag class (under Wk 2, BagLinked_List.cpp) with the following methods: -int Bag::min( ), is to find minimum of items of the bag. -int Bag::max( ), is to find maximum of items of the...

You need to create a driver that makes several cans and places them in alphabetical order in a list. Identify the necessary methods in a List Linked implementation. C++ Linked List Implementation Motivation As we discussed in class, the data structures that you use to implement your program can have a profound impact on it's overall performance. A poorly written program will often need much more RAM and CPU time then a well-written implementation. One of the most basic data structure questions revolves around the difference between an array and a linked list. After you finish this assignment you should have a firm understanding of their operation. Problem...

Q.(1)Describe the algorithm and java implementation for the following operations A. Create a singly linked list L1 with 4 nodes. You can use insert operation to add nodes to the list. Each element represent an airport code (e.g. BOS, ATL, JFK, MSP, etc.). Display the list L1 after it is created. B. Given singly linked list L1, create another singly linked list L2 that contains the same elements but in the reverse order. Display the content of both L1 and...
