Answer #1

1)
NaBr is salt of Strong base (NaOH) and Strong acid (HBr)
Both acid and base are strong
So, the salt NaBr is neutral
Its solubility will not be effected in HCl
Answer: there is no difference

2)
CaCO3 is salt of Strong base (Ca(OH)2) and weak acid
Only base is strong
So, the salt CaCO3 is basic
So, adding HCl will increase the solubility
Answer: more soluble

3)
CoCl2 is salt of weak base and Strong acid (HCl)
Only acid is strong
So, the salt CoCl2 is acidic
So, adding HCl will decrease the solubility
Answer: less soluble

4)
Al(OH)3 is base.
So, adding HCl will increase the solubility
Answer: more soluble
