Identify the author and write five carefully chosen sentences on the meaning of the quotation.

  1. “Suppose now that there were two such magic rings, and the just put on one of them and the unjust the other; no man can be imagined to be of such an iron nature that he would stand fast in justice. No man would keep his hands off what was not his own when he could safely take what he liked out of the market, or go into houses and lie with any one at his pleasure, or kill or release from prison whom he would, and in all respects be like a God among men.” ---The Ring of Gyges by Plato

ANSWER

  • As per his philosophy of Love For All Hatred For None, we can try to understand the people who do not belong to us, but they are human beings and they have equal rights to live peacefully, we can respect their feelings, their independence, religion, language, and there are many things we can avoid and can reduce the hate among ourselves, the public has to understand the motive of terrorists, by giving correct guidance, and understanding the true meaning of religion, that is peace none of the religion teaches hatred, it is misinterpretation by unjust people that they change the very essence of the teaching for their favor. I hope more and more people will come to the philosophy of 'Love for All Hatred for None'
  • Once I saw this slogan I was very much impressed by these six letters that was giving an invitation to think, why there is so much of unrest in this world, why we are not respecting others, and what is the reason that the wealthy countries are interfering in smaller and poor countries, instead of bringing peace these countries are providing arm and ammunition to the rebels. The grabbing of land in the poor countries a means to make them slave, the genocides, killing and unrest is due the reason that we have forgotten or we are made to forget the beautiful word 'Love for all' we have started hating each other on the name of development, religion, color, status, and race, language the list is endless. People are unjust towards each other, we have become self-centered giving hate speeches and implementing by our action, we have brought the world very close to world war, most of the countries have nuclear power, and any wrong step
  • The philosophy of life' Love for All Hatred for None" I love, respect and follow this philosophy of life.If I had the second ring frankly speaking I do not know what I would do, If I can keep my ethics and morals high I will definitely not do any act that will harm others, but the human desires and nature have wings it flies very high without thinking of consequences I may do some acts that may be immoral and not acceptable and I would not have ever imagined doing it.
