Answer #1

Volume of Ca(OH)2 taken(V1) = 10 ml

Concentration of Ca+2 (M1)= ?

Volume of HCl required to neutralise(V2) = 4.86 ml

Concentration of HCl(M2)= 0.043M

Temperature condition = 20oC

Indicator = Bromothymol blue

At the end point

M1V1 = M2V2

M1 * 10 = 0.043 * 4.86

M1 = 0.0209 M

Initial concentration of Ca2+ = 0.0209M
