Do you like the way Uber interacts with its internal and external stakeholders? Do you think a change in managerial philosophy is needed? Uber’s new CEO Khosrowshahi has promised to turn the company around. One of Uber’s new norms is “We do the right thing. Period.” Do you think Khosrowshahi can turn the company around and change the company culture?
Assume you are Uber’s new CEO. How can you promote ethics at the organization?
Uber's interaction with internal and external stakeholders should be more clear and crisp. At the moment, not sure about the internal stakeholder case in details but they should keep their guidelines for the customer and their partner drivers very intact and full adherence to the discipline.
Change in managing philosophy is required up tp few extents where there should be more fairness in terns of customer-related challenges and their partner drivers
Khosrowshah can change the company culture only for the good reason and in the best interest of the company, while he promotes the slogan " we do the right thing" he really needs to make sure, that Uber team is doing the right thing in reality and up to the best extent.
As an Uber CEO, I would be bringing various methods of operation where there should be complete clarity between all stakeholders. I would also try to initiate the program which can reduce the operational gap and bring more transparency in the system. I will prepare the list of do and donts while keeping ethics and organization culture in mind

If NYU took the money from RIM and then in future gets influenced by their business agenda then...
