Use excel and the function: =t.dist.rt(___,___) and multiply answer by 2 to find the p-value. Please find the p-value with 4 decimals
Find the p-value for the t-test of Ho: µ = 4 vs. Ha: µ > 4 where n = 11 and t = 2.646. Report 4 decimal places.
Please don't hesitate to give a "thumbs up" in case
you're satisfied with the answer
The formula is :
=T.DIST.RT(2.646, 10) . The 10 is basically the degrees of
freedom calculated by n-1 (11-1 = 10)
= .01224
Now, this is one sided. We multiply by 2 as asked in the question.
2*.01224 = .02448 or .0245
But since this is a one-sided test ( as Ha: Mu > 4) we have the p-value as .0122
Answer is .0122

How do I get the p-value
Please use R Code
Question 5 Your answer is CORRECT The one-sample t statistic for a test of Ho: =14 vs. Ha: <14 based on n observations has the test statistic value of t= -1.45. What is the p-value for this test? = 19 0.164 a) 0.918 b) 0.000 c) 0.382 0.082
How do I find these on a calculator or using excel??
