Basically, supply chain segmentation is the alignment of customers' choice into different segments and providing every segment enough supply with the profits.

The company I m familiar with is basic and fashionable clothing products. So, as everyone knows the clothing and garment industry needs a variety of segmentation. Though there is a necessity to offer different importance propositions to different customer segments, like women's clothing, men's clothing, kids wear, casual wear, fashionable outfits, etc where the company can navigate synergies in the supply chain by required volume across the several segments to reduce overall costs.
