how is the effectiveness of a corrective action measured, and what happens if the necessary corrective action is not performed in a timely fashion?
After a corrective action is identified and put at place, it is important to measure its effectiveness through continuously tracking it and comparing its outcome with the performance expectations. The simplest way of identifying the effectiveness of a corrective measure is through comparing the old results with the new one after corrective measure is out at place and analysing the improvement. Effectiveness of corrective action is also measuref through tracking performance continuously.
One such efficient way of tracking the effectiveness is Layered Order process (LPA's)
Layeted Audit process is basically an effectiveness monitoring and tracking process which performs audits in layers to determine the weak or risk areas so that such areas are addressed. It is important to understand the underlying or root cause behind the corrective action not meeting expectations by performing a shollow root cause analysis which reflects how much improvement has been made to the current problem after putting the corrective action at place,
The best example can be : After a defect in shoe pair is identified and corrective action is put at place to prevent such defect from taking place, the next most important step will be evaluating the shoes after corrective action is put at place to ensure no such defective items are now produced.
.
If necessary corrective action is not performed in a timely manner it can produce dreadful results. No putting any corrective action at place would mean leaving the current problem unaddressed which can escalate the complexities and degree of risk associated with the problem and thus hampering the smooth flow of activities and tasks interdependent on the area where problem existed. Not performing corrective action in a timely manner can further increase the chances of quality escapes and ineffective outcome which might not meet the expectations and deviate from the intended results. Delaying the problem solving might also results into customer complaints and damage to the production norms of organization damaging brand image. Therefore it is important to target the problem area at right time without any lag to prevent complications from taking domination in the project.

Keeping track of project performance and taking corrective action when necessary has become a serious issue for project managers at your company. •If you are hired in the middle of a software project (the previous project manager was fired), what would you do to ensure that the project conforms to agreed-upon quality and is delivered on schedule? •What are some of the causes of schedule creep and poor quality? •When is it appropriate to distribute the project milestone report to...
You are a manger who employs a participative control approach. You have concluded that corrective action is necessary to improve customer satisfaction, but first you need to convince your employees that the problem exists. you think employees will find quantitative measurements more compelling than anecdotes .How can you use each type to show improvement over the coming time periods.
Present the various measures for message effectiveness. In each explain what is measured, and how it is related to any particular stage of the persuasion process.
Name three reasons consumers abandon online shopping carts. What would you suggest as corrective action?
how many sine components are necessary to create a square wave that is “square”? What happens if you increase the amplitude of a component? What happens if you increase the frequency of a component?
What happens when an action potential reaches an axon terminal? Include every step from the action potential reaching the axon terminal to the post-synaptic cell receiving the signal, using as much detail as possible.
If a drug partly blocks a membrane potassium channels what happens to the action potential?
How is Team effectiveness important in Leading Organization? Summarize the Richard Hackman Group effectiveness including Descriptive Research, Normative Model and Action Plan separately and How is each section(Descriptive Research, Normative Model and Action Plan) important in Leading Teams/Organizations.
1) Action potential a) Explain how an action potential moves down a cell wall. Be very specific about what generates a force, and what exactly moves. Explain how the membrane chemistry play a role. b) Explain what electrical signals are available for measuring in the case of the heart, brain and nervous system, and muscles. Give details regarding timing and magnitude. c) Explain how the signals described in b) are measured in practice. Give details about techniques or particular circuits...
Draw a graph of what happens during the action potentials of an SA node call and the action potentialsbof a cardiac muscle cell. Your x-axis should be time in seconds and your y-axis should be membrane potential in millivolts. Be sure to indicate on the graph which ion channels are open at which times and which ions are moving in which direction. inlcude a paragraph description of the similarities and differences between the two types of action potentials.
