Answer #1

Density of water = 1kg/1 litre

= 1000g/1000ml

= 1g/ml

So density of blood = density of water = 1g/ml

So mass of 1ml of blood = 1g

Then mass of 475 ml of blood = 475 × 1g

= 475 g

We know,

1 g = 0.0022 pound

475 g = 1.0472 pound

So 1.0472 pound of weight loss will occur.
