Answer #1

I choose the two factor theory of motivation:-

This theory, additionally known as the Motivation-Hygiene Theory or the dual-factor theory, was fenced in by Frederick Herzberg in 1959. This American psychologist who was terribly inquisitive aboutpeople’s motivation and job satisfaction, came up with the idea. He conducted his analysis by asking a gaggle of individuals concerning their sensible and unhealthy experiences at work. He was stunned that the cluster answered questions on their sensible experiences terribly otherwise from those about their unhealthy experiences.

Based on this, he developed the idea that people’s job satisfaction depends on 2 styles of factors. Factors for satisfaction(motivators/satisfiers) and factors for dissatisfaction (hygiene factors/ dissatisfiers).

Performance, recognition, job status, responsibility and opportunities for growth all fall under motivators/ satisfiers.

Hygiene factors/dissatisfiers are concerning regular payment, secondary operating conditions, the link with colleagues, physical work place and therefore the relationship between supervisor and worker.

Thanks, hope you will appreciate.

In his theory, Herzberg claims these factors operate on a similar plane. In alternative words, satisfaction and dissatisfaction aren’t polar opposites. taking out an employee’s dissatisfaction – for instance by providing the next regular payment – doesn’t essentially mean the worker can then be happy. the worker is simply not discontent.
