Honest Bank Ltd is a real life scenario where we want to analyze Hackman’s normative model of group behaviour and observe its effects.
We will apply this model to the corporate lending team . The output of the corporate lending team and its parallel team of risk analysts is the quantum and quality of loans disbursed .
Social processes - This was something that Honest Bank was struggling with . The process of disbursing a loan to a customer was a cumbersome and complex and needed seamless integration from all team members and parallel team members.
Learning - Every member of the team have diverse experience while working for different banks and different types of clients in number of industries . This sharing of experience and expertise in dealing with clients from different industries is a learning experience.
The job of the team leader or team manager is to ensure that all the teams work in tandem to achieve the desired end result so potential relationship conflict needs to be controlled . There is no task- level conflict as the tasks are well defined.
Please note tha Honest Bank is a fictitious name as company policies do not allow me to reveal actual company name in public domain.
