Managers plays an important role during building a relationship with their employees via communication. There should be a good quality of relationships between a manager and his employees to run the organization in a profitable manner. And this can be achieved only if Managers have a good communication skill,good persona, and good relationship with his employees otherwise it would directly affect the organization growth.

Managers tone for communication influences employees behaviours,helps to deliver a positive attitude, confidence,and providing important context and goal set helps to obtain a good quality of work. He should be strict as well as friendly with his employees to maintain a good work and environment.

Use of communication channels like emails,telephone calls has improved the relationship between them. In communication,a channel indicates a passing of information between a sender and receiver,and it can be through anything like telephone calls,presentations or face-to-face communication or a written mode such as memos,email,reports etc..

Two parties can share very important notices, information via this channel in an effective manner. Employees are satisfied when their managers use emails,phone calls ,instant messages and internal social networks for communication purpose as they feel very comfortable with this communication. While some managers use mediated communication channel where middle and the executive managers become very interpersonal communication channels.

Study also showed that the Top Managers mostly use face to face communication to build trust as eye contact and confidence speaking gives a positive effect to the employees and prevent it from any misunderstandings. It builds the relationship between them and boosts the effectiveness. Its also important to maintain confidentiality of information which can only be achieved through face-to-face communication and not be through any emails and telephone calls.

Middle Managers use emails and telephone calls as they need to deliver information quickly among their employees where as Front-line Managers use face-to-face communication like Top Managers and telephone calls like Middle Managers to complete the work in an effective manner.

Though Managers use any kind of medium or channels to communicate, the most important thing is that communication must be very effective and should create a good relationship between him and his employees to maintain a good quality of work for the growth of organization.
