The use of a cellular system is fully automated and requires no action on the part of the user other than placing or answering a call. Two types of channels must be used between to facilitate mobile user communications. What are these two channels? Describe their function.

"call origination " and "call paging " is being implemented by control channel. Control channel is mainly used for the synchronization of the data in between the network system and user device.
Control Channel mainly consist of the following:
1.Synchronization Channel(SCH)- SCH performs a crucial part in the network system.For the communication to work properly there is a need of synchronization of frames of BTS and the user device.
2.Broadcast Control Channel(BCCH)-This channel is mainly used for broadcasting of general information.
3.Frequency Correction Channel(FCCH)-In many cellular issues there is mismatch between clock speeds and the frequencies of the mobile stations.For solving such issues FCCH is used for correcting the station frequencies.
Traffic Channel(TCH)- For propagation of data and speech traffic, Traffic Channel is used . In a system a standard TCH consists of multiple frame,26 frame configuration or as a group of 26 TDMA frames.
