When I solved this and did not convert to rad/s and instead left it as rpm...

When I solved this and did not convert to rad/s and instead left it as rpm the whole time, I get a different answer even with the same process. Do you need to put it in rad/s to solve it then put it back to rpm in the end?

If angular displacement is given in revolutions and time in minutes, then you don't need to convert rpm to rad/s. If they are given in rad and seconds then we need to convert rpm to rad/s. you need to convert your final answer to rpm from rad/s if asked in rpm.

1 rpm = (2pi/60) rad/s
