Yes I agree with the sentiment: Fundamentals and forget the rest. This sentiment is perfectly in sync with ethical decision making. Fundamentals and forget the rest provides us the basic idea that we should never forget the fundamental rights and duties in decision making. In other words, we must never forget the fundamental principles that makes a decision right or wrong. In a decision making, we must embrace fundamental principles and eliminate every other factor that comes in the way of ethical of thinking. Ethical decision making is purely ethical only when it discards every other factor intervening in the decision making process. A slight modification in the decision making violates the fundamental principles of ethical thinking. Therefore, I accept the sentiment "Fundamentals, and forget the rest"
