What is the relationship between the hydrophobicity and the number of CH2 or methylene groups in methyl red, ethyl red, and propyl red?

Methyl red has no methylene groups,ethyl red has two and propyl red has four.With increase in the non polar chain hydrophobicity is increased since these are uncharged parts.So hydrophobic interactions increases from methyl to ethyl and then propyl red due to increase in non polar methylene group.
