The most commonly used PEDS are anabolic androgenic steroids , which are known for their ability to build and strengthen muscle as well as reduce body wait. Other common PEDS include human growth hormone. Athletes and other young adults may use this drug to improve performance and increase muscle. Use of PEDS also known as doping , isn't just a problem among athletes. Many young people may feel pressured by their peers or by their own ambitious. - to use these drugs, to improve their competitive performance, loss weight , or to improve their own body image. They also provide users an unfair advantage over the rest of the field. Various professional sports leagues have attempted to set a level playing field by testing of drug use and suspending those found guilty. The body makes steroids naturally to support such functions as fighting stress and promoting growth and development. But some people use steroid pills, gels, creams or injections because they think it helps to improve their sports performance and the way they look.

STRONGER AND MORE DIRECT CONSEQUENCES

Yes there is strong and more direct consequences. Stimulants increases focus, endurance, and speed. Each comes up with their own set of risks. But in general these PEDS increase the risk of high blood pressure, an enlarged heart , irregular heart rate, heart attack, stroke, dangerously high body temperatures, and intense anger of paranoia.

It can also lead to serious even permanent health problems such as: kidney problems or failure, liver damage and tumors, changes in blood cholesterol all of which it increases the risk of stroke.

The economic impact on doping distorts the level playing in fields. With higher stakes involved, such distortions create negative externalities not only on the individual level but also by the frictions on the aggregate level and erode the principle of sports. Many sports have been suffered from doping to a decline of interest from spectators at the large. The number of banned substances and practises has been growing steadily and then gave rise to the doping.
