Analysed changing worker and employer issues, rights and responsibilities in context of changing work practices?
The increased importance of transparency in the supply and demand requires ethical concern in supply chain management. Currently, the consumers are looking beyond the company practices to ensure that whether the organization has maintained all the ethical perspectives of supply chain management or not. The evaluation of suppliers' power, vendors' capability, and consumer bargain power require authentication from supply chain ethics. Thus, the risk assessment in supply chain management is significantly attached to ethical concepts. The moral ideas include clarity, transparency in the operations, and legal attachment with the decision-making of the organization.
Organizations should have an ethical approach to maintain clarity and transparency. Moral maintenance of clarity and transparency in the supply chain management includes the following aspects
• The clarity in the production process: Clarity should be maintained in the production process by ensuring quality staffs and quality raw materials of the product. Moreover, production staff should keep deadlines without lacking production quality.
• Product quality: Maintaining consistency in product quality properly aligns the ethical perspectives of supply chain management. Product quality should be highly valued to maintain sustainability with supply chain ethics.
• Delivery system: The organization should ensure timely delivery to the customers. Maintaining the scheduled time of delivery is highly valuable for supply chain ethics. Thus, time management is an essential part of the ethical perspectives of supply chain management.
Lessons which I have learned about the supply chain management ethics are as follows:
• Extend to suppliers: Ethical supply chain management increases the trust between the organization and suppliers. Moreover, maintenance of ethics expands the scope of communicating a large number of suppliers to ensure a flow of supply and demand.
• Transparency: Ethical supply chain management promotes operational transparency and accountability — ethics influences all the members of the organization to adopt an integrated approach to accomplish their respective tasks.
The ethical supply chain is always a significant approach to satisfy target customers.

Nike Becomes a Global Citizen Craig E. Johnson In 1962, Stanford University student Phil Knight came up with the idea to create one of the world's first “virtual companies,” a manufacturing firm with no physical assets. According to Knight's business plan, the company would cut costs by outsourcing all manufacturing and then pour the savings into marketing. Knight followed this formula to make Nike into the dominant athletic apparel manufacturer with an internationally recognized brand name. Key to Nike's growth...
