HR staff must be included in decision making to international business operations such as finalizing a joint venture agreement. This is because the HR department plays a key role in organization the workplace in accordance with the new work environment. They also help in getting staff with suitable qualifications and training them on the new project. HR department knows the potentiality of the organization and can be a great help in deciding whether the organization would be capable of handling the joint venture.
The HR department will also help in developing strategies by providing the information of the firm's pros and cons and where the firm should stress the most so that it could use that area as it's advantage. It will also help in getting information regarding the company we are associating with . Overall HR department would be of a great help in analysing and deciding on the agreement before finalizing it and hence must be involved.
