This advantage also meant the spread of different contagious disease which originated in one land to another. Measles when broke first had no proper vaccine and many people died because of it.This imbibed a fear among other countries and parts of the world about the spreading of the disease. This fear eventually dragged down the globalization process as people started to hesitate in exchanging of things from other places. Globalization slowed down and the vulnerability of people to the disease exposed them. The advent of technology and medicine also played a huge role ,as the irony is that the measles slowed the growth of globalization but on the other hand it is the globalization and its medicinal advancements that led to controlling of this contagious disease. The invention of vaccine allowed the situation to exacerbate and again the world saw rapid developments in globalization.
