could someone please draw me a picture and explain what happens in an RC circuit regaridng the capacitor

So i know initially the uncharged capacitor has voltage 0, but how does voltage increase? like is there electrons flowing through??? like what is making that change because then i can understand the ideas behind the current slowing down in the circuit

PLEASE HELP ME EXAM TOMORROW
