In Spectrophotometric Determination of Iron in Vitamin Tablets lab , would the bioavailability of iron affect the quantity of iron in the vitamin tablet?
During the spectroscopic determination of Iron from Vitamin tablet we will get the total amount of Iron present inside the tablet.
The term Bioavailability suggests how much of a given quantity is available for our body when consumed.
So the amount of tablet present in the tablet will be measured as it is by spectrophotometric determination.
And as not all iron present in the tablet is consumed by the body due to bioavailability we have to add addition iron in tablet such that after the bioavailability of the capsule or tablet is reached it delivers the required dosage.
So the bioavailability doesn't affect determination of iron
But it does affect the Quantity of iron that is present inside the tablet
I hope this helps. If you have any query or want more detailed explanation, feel free to ask in the comments section below.

LAB: Determination of iron in multivitamin tablets by colorimetry and verification of consistency between two batches of tablets Briefly describe how you will use this method to determine the relative concentration of different Fe species (ie Fe (II) and Fe (iii) oxidation states in the same solution), for example in lake water to monitor environments oxido- reduction.
Vitamin C Project Lab: Part B: Data analysis Calculate the grams of Vitamin C in your Erlenmeyer. (as in titration #1 ) Calculate the grams of Vitamin C per tablet. Calculate a percent error by comparing your result to the tablet dose above. Determine the % composition of vitamin C in the tablet Build a data table similar to the one you used for titration # 1 to calculate the following: 1. 2 3. 4. Show all your work Trial...
Lab - Spectrophotometric determination of glucose content Part 1 If the outside of your cuvette had not been properly cleaned, how would your result have been affected? would the amount of glucose be higher or lower? Explain. Part 2 Why was it important to ensure that each sample was evenly heated for the same amount heated for the same amount of time? How would your results/graph been affected if the samples were exposed to different temperatures and heating times?
