• The actual date on which the author has written the particular biblical text, is one of the major concerns while interpreting the scripture. It is very important to understand the cultural context under which the text has been written. The meanings could also be understood according to the cultural contexts.
• Another major concerns is, knowing about the background of the author who has written the biblical text. By knowing the author, helps to conclude how authentic the text that he has written could be. Some of the texts does not provide the true picture of the things that had happened.
• All the texts in the bible, could be changed while translating or while copying. It would be very difficult to obtain the original text from the copied material.
• Without any historical knowledge, it would be very difficult to interpret the actual context under which a particular text was written. Archeological knowledge would definitely come in handy to understand the biblical texts.
