Answer #1

Environmental forces are the natural factors that must always have an impact in the manner in which any firm is operating. These includes the social and cultural factors that are the way of life of a given group of people. There are the norms they believe in as a people, and you can never do anything whatsoever to change that in them. The second factor under this is the demographic factor that are personal factors or an individual’s traits and so his way of behavior. These helps to collect and ascertain data from a given population; this is done by looking at factors as the age, marital status, gender education, race occupation just but to mention a few (Helms 220). The third one is the technological factors that are very broad and is always after seeing the intended firm adapting in the selected area of business, controlling it within its capacities and moreover even try changing it. These are some of the basic factors that play a very crucial factor based on the environmental trends and should always be given a lot of consideration following the impact that they come with as consequences of either making good use of them or ignoring them. In the case of a hospital that is intended to be running here, it must be given very many considerations. The hospital operates with all these factors in mind so that they can always see the response or consequences on their actions and so doing the corrections where required based on the very factors and so fulfilling the desires of the environment.

SWOT analysis in the survey or research that is done on both the internal and external environments to help the firm informed on the best and recommended actions that will best work following the situation at hand. The internal factors are the strengths and weaknesses that affect the firm internally (Nikolaou 230). These may be factors like different departments having differences and so not well collaborating as per the policies of the firm, an individual being after fulfilling his or her selfish gain and so does anything at the expense of considering that which is required of him or her. Lastly but to mention a few the upper management board not well connected with the entire firm due to isolating some departments following the differences that they may be having in the firm.

The strengths and weaknesses will be looking at the firm in that it will look at the areas that the firm does well and ensure that a lot are put in place to see it go to another level. The weaknesses, on the other hand, are identified and the required actions put in place to ensure that the firm delivers following the laid down policies since this is the only way that they will be better placed in competing their rivals in the market following the output ratings at the end of the day. Opportunities and threat are the external factors that affect that firm from outside (Marilyn M 240). Opportunities are the factors that the firm should identify and embrace fully since these are the factors that their rivals are not well conversant with and it is the only way that they will do much better by embracing that which their rivals have not yet known. Threats in the other hand are the factors that affect the firm from outside that may be an opportunity they had never known before and their rivals have been using this as a stepping stone. All these discussed factors should be well looked at appropriately so that the best alternative or rather measures are put in place for the betterment of the hospital at the end of the day.
