Advantage : Individual focus on every employee can be provided, as the overall performance of an employee can be measured up on his contribution towards organization in previous year. By this an individual can be easily rewarded, guided and can be given feedback for career development.

Disadvantage: Evaluation of individuals on every joining date of employee can consume a lot time, as it a long way process to evaluate an employee based on his previous year's performance. Every employee has different anniversary date. Comparison of other employees become difficult.

Evaluation on yearly basis.

Advantage: It helps to compare the performance of every employee and take decisions regarding promotion, recruitment and succession planning.

Disadvantage: requires to consider the performance datas of each employee when evaluating their performance. Which needs proper arrangements, planning and training of the Evaluator to give unbiased results.
