Answer #1
Answer: False

Data link and physical Layers of OSI maps to Network interface layer of TCP/IP
Network layer of OSI maps to Network layer of TCP/IP
Transport layer of OSI maps to Transport layer of TCP/IP
Application, Presentation and Session Layers of OSI maps to Application layer of TCP/IP

But layer to layer basis is comfusing.
if it means every layer of TCP/IP has matching layer in OSI model. then it's true.

You learned that the OSI model is an industry-accepted model. For this case study, compare and contrast the OSI model and DoD TCP/IP model. Include a comparison of how security fits into each model. Prepare a report summarizing your research. Included in the report should be a critique of the question, "Why do we still use the OSI model when just about everyone has settled on the TCP/IP protocol suite?" Defend your thoughts.
