Ans 3.4-  Training- Training is related with the development of a particular skill to a desired standard by the proper instruction and practice. It is a highly useful tool to bring the employees in such a position so to do their job more effectively, correctively.

Instructional Design- Instructional Design is a systematic and reflective process comprises of the five activity phases- Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation. Instructional Design is based upon the learning principles that fosters the creation of the plans of activities, media, materials, information and evaluation that elevates the skills, competencies, knowledge, behaviors and attitudes by maximizing the efficiency, effectiveness and other experiences.

Need Assessment- It means to assess the needs of the organization, any group. In this Process, the HR Manager asks no. of questions about what is not working or what is working. These answers helps to identify the gaps between the expectations and reality.

Readiness for Training- Effective Training not only need a program that solves the real need. But the condition of readiness for training of employees. Readiness for Training refers to the combination of the characterstics of employee and the positive work environment that permit training.

On the Job Training- On the Job Training refers to the technique where the workers or employees give the direct instructions to do their jobs. In this, the Workers or Employees can learn all the skills that are need to be performed in the actual work conditions. In this, the Organization don't have to bear so much cost of setting up the simulated setup or classroom.

Apprenticeship- It is the process of teaching the trade to the freshers. It includes On the Job Training accompanied of the classroom training and reading. It orignates from the middle ages when the master craftsman hire the young peoples as termed as the assistants who do the work like the labours and get the food, living, formal training of the craft, lodging.

Internships- It is a temporary process with the emphasis of on the job training rather than the employment. It can be in the form of paid or unpaid. It gives more weightage to your profile at the time of getting job. It ia a period of work experience offered by the organization.

Experiential Programs- Experiential Programs is a whole body of training methods that are used to develop the physical abilities and behavioral skills. Some of the Experiential Programs are Role Playing, Games, Simulations, Equipments Simulations, Case Analysis, Computer Based Training, On the Job Training, Behavioral Modeling etc.
