Answer #1

During my college days, I got an opportunity to work with Doctoral students. They were working on preparation of a suitable packaging material for food items. They told me that first of all, a proper planning is important before conducting any research work.

They kept main focus on the importance of review of literature. If we study past researches then we come to know about the extent up to which various works have been completed related to some topic.

It also guides us about following up of proper strategy. It elaborates the path to follow and also tells the methods which should be discarded. It saves time and helps in easier management of future research work.. Hence, study of past literature is very important.

Once the study part has been completed then we should consider various other aspects like; the product should be economical. It should not harm the environment. It should be safer for human consumption.

Various ethical considerations are also important in any research work. We should provide credit to persons who have contributed to our research in directly or indirectly manner. Plagiarism should be avoided. Proper references should be provided.

If we are studying a group of people then taking prior consent is important. We should not play deceptive games. Confidential data should not be disclosed. Privacy of any individual should not be harmed in the name of research.

Respect and morality are integral part of any research work. Poor designing of experiment may harm animals and persons associated. Risks should be minimized in any research work. Dignity of any concerned person should not be harmed at any cost.
