McGregor concept

Douglas M C Gregor was a social psychologist, who introduced two theories known as Theory X and Theory Y in 1960. He explained these theories in his book named 'the human side of enterprise' which represents two styles of management. Theory X(negative) represents a style of management called authoritarian and Theory Y(positive) represents another style of management called participative. Both these theories is based on certain assumptions.

Assumptions of theory X

  • most of workers does't like job
  • needs direction and supervision
  • little desire for responsibility
  • little capacity for creativity
  • necessary to provide strict rules and punishments

Assumptions of Theory Y

  • workers likes the job
  • no need of supervision
  • no compelsery to provide strict rules and punishments
  • self-directed
  • creative at work

Mixed consequence system( modern medical center)

A modification is done in single consequence system which utilize either reinforces or punishers to mixed consequence system which utilize both punishers and reinforces.

The five characteristics of mixed consequence system are

  • immediacy of contingencies
  • continuation of plan
  • systematic application
  • uniform method of  treatment
  • use of both punishers and reinforces

MPS

MPS is called master production schedule.Master production schedule is a plan for production for individual communities in every time period.Master production schedule help a company to prevent shortages, cost expenditure, last minute scheduling of work and insufficient allocation of raw materials.

Norm

Basically, norm is defined as something that is provided as usual, typical or standard. Norm is also defined as the individual providing or collective representations in a particular group conduct.

O.B.Mod.

O.B.Mod is technique in human resource management in order to modifying  of job related behavior. This technique is derived and developed by B.F.Skinner. this technique helps to eliminates the undesired behavior from employee and to achieve maximum effectiveness.

operant conditioning

operant conditioning is a method of learning in which B.F Skinner is considered to be the developer. hence B F Skinner is known as the father of operant conditioning. In this learning process, the strength of behavior of a particular person is developed by punishments.

One minute management

One minute management is the technique of managing things in 60 seconds.In this type of management, the person become a bettor leader within 60 seconds.

Organizational effectiveness

Organisational effectiveness can be defines as a concept in which the organisation should be able to attain certain specific objectives. it is expressed in terms of net profitability and target possibility.
