If capitalism is the cause of crime, how do you explain crime in a socialist society? Give examples how Marxist Theory should have worked in socialist society that is not working presently. What made the difference?
According to socialist theory, a crime is a result of society offering someone a work not good for their dignity and self-respect, which have less sense of creativity. In a socialist society, crime is more when there will be communal ownership of the means of production.
Marxist theory of socialism says that to reduce crimes and hatred in the society people should have common means of production so that one does not feel demeaned or ignored because they don't have the proper means to produce. If properties could be publicized and privatization could have been ended, crimes would have reduced. And this is the reason why crimes are so high. The most number of crimes in the society are related to means of production and less violence or grudges against someone. And that's what has made the difference. Privatization is the reason for crimes.
