Forceful Marketing Strategy basically means to attract customers by using loud and bold form of advertisements. Usually forceful marketing's main purpose is always to attract a large number of customers. By using direct ways of advertisement, for example, door step delivery of products is counted under forceful marketing. Also many other forceful strategy like for example, the seller becomes too persistent to sell his product.

Product Life Cycle (PLC) is about how a product is made, created and reached it's maturity stage and then how the product reaches it's peak stage and then slowly matures and then finally declines. Due to PLC market adjusts it's marketing strategies. One can distribute PLC stages as follows :

  • Initial or introduction phase - This is the first step to launch the product. In this stage, companies try to make an awareness of it's products through advertisements, through various surveys etc. In this stage, product is given a price tag. During this phase, distributing the product takes place in order to know whether or not the consumer has accepted this product or not? And last step is to make advertisements about it's products (if accepted by the customers).
  • Growth phase - In this stage, the product is already launched in the market and now the company maintains it's prices, maintains it's quality and demand so that customers are satisfied. Promotion of product is also done during this stage so that product can reach to many customers.
  • Maturity phase - Here, in this stage, product is not as much in demand as it used to be due to emergence of Competitors. Thus, here the product's features may be differentiated. Product's price is lower down to attract customers etc. This is where a product has reached it's maturity period.
  • Decline phase - As one can understand, in this phase a product slowly starts to decline. Therefore companies start to add new features to it's products. It tries to retain it's demand by offering various offers, changes pricing of products. Or else, company stops to manufacture the product.

Thus, these are the various stages that are applied in PLC.
