We are studying refraction right now and I’m wondering does the ratio of the angle of incidence to the angle of refraction remain constant? I know the SINES of the angles will have a constant ratio but will the angles themselves be in constant ratio or not? Also, is the path of light through water (or plastics) the same when it’s direction is reversed?

Yes, the ratio of the angle of incidence to the angle of refraction is always constant for specific pair of media. (i.e its always constant for pair of air and water) But it will be different for different pair of media.

will the angles themselves be in constant ratio, NO, it need not to be true for all values of angles.

is the path of light through water (or plastics) the same when it’s direction is reversed? Yes, it is known as law of reversibility. a ray will trace the same path if its direction is reversed, But the pair of media should be same.
